Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 July 2026

1. Agreement.

By creating an account or using this service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What this service is (and is not).

This tool is a guide to help you understand and prepare DVA claims. It is not legal, medical, or financial advice, not advocacy or representation, and not a substitute for the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) or a qualified advocate. It does not make or predict DVA decisions. Always verify important information with DVA or a qualified advocate before you lodge.

3. Nothing is lodged with DVA.

The tool does not send anything to DVA. Nothing you do here lodges or changes a claim. When you are ready to lodge, you do that yourself through DVA or MyService.

4. Your account and who can use it.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The service supports individual veterans, advocates, and Ex-Service Organisation (ESO) and advocacy-organisation teams. You are responsible for keeping your login secure. Advocates and organisation members may only access a veteran's information with that veteran's permission or an authorised relationship.

5. Your responsibilities.

Provide accurate information. Only upload documents you have the right to upload; if you upload someone else's information (for example, an advocate acting for a client), you confirm you are authorised to do so. Use the service lawfully.

6. AI-assisted summaries.

The tool uses AI to help prepare summaries from a privacy-scrubbed copy of your documents. AI-assisted output can contain errors or omissions and is a starting point, not a final or authoritative document. Always review it and verify with DVA or a qualified advocate.

7. Free and paid features.

Core guidance is free. Some AI features may require credits or a paid pack. Any prices and refund rights are shown at the time of purchase and are subject to the Australian Consumer Law.

8. Your content.

You keep ownership of the documents and information you upload. You give us permission to store and process your content only to provide the service to you. We keep ownership of the service, its software, and its content.

9. Disclaimers and liability.

We provide the service with reasonable care, but it is a guide and may contain errors or omissions. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or its output. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

10. Suspension and termination.

We may suspend or end access to protect the service or if these Terms are breached. You can stop using the service and request deletion of your data at any time.

11. Changes to these Terms.

We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we will let you know.

12. Governing law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
